Boundary Aligned Remesh is another Blender addon for triangular remshing.
QuickStart Guide
After installation, select and object that you would like to remesh into triangles, right-click in the 3D View and choose “Boundary Aligned Remesh” from the bottom of the menu.
The operation will completely replace your current mesh, so you may want to duplicate your object first.
Your object will now be remeshed although the results may not be what you expect, if you are looking for triangulated remesh. Open the Model operation manu in the lower left corner of the 3D View and adjust the settings.
- Uncheck Quads: this will create a triangular remesh.
- Adjust Edge Length: this is the remesh resolution. Lower values means higher resolution similar to voxel remeshing. Be careful not to set this value too low because it may take a long time to complete and may even freeze Blender. A value of ~0.5 is a good and safe starting point.
- Iterations: higher values will produce cleaner results but will take longer to compute (especially at a low Edge Length value).
